Park Tool ATD-1 Torque Wrench Review

Park Tool Torque Wrench
A tool deserving of a nice wood backdrop

Now that I have one, I can’t believe I waited so long to buy a Park Tool torque wrench. It’s as good as I’ve come to expect from Park Tool and does its job exactly how it needs to.

Unlike some cheaper preset torque drivers, the ATD-1 model is adjustable to 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, or 6 NM (Newton Meters) which covers my stems, handlebars, and seatposts on all my bikes. There’s also no possibility of over tightening as the wrench’s clutch will disengage when you reach your preset NM resistance. The handle is easy to clutch and doesn’t get in the way when tightening things up. Easy win.
