On a recent trip to San Jose, I was able to get an early morning ride in on the Guadalupe River Trail, which follows the Guadalupe River 12 miles north to San Francisco Bay and the town of Alviso.
On a spare morning in Las Vegas this winter, I was lucky enough to ride Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area on a rental BMC Granfondo. True to its name, Red Rock Canyon is an exceedingly scenic park with a very bicycle friendly 15 mile loop.
